Boilermaker

What we are looking for: We are seeking experienced Boilermakers working for our client with various projects in the Western Sydney area. Ideally, you would be qualified with 2 years of experience.

KEY DUTIES

  • General boilermaking duties.
  • Read, interpret, and work from fabrication/engineering drawings.
  • General housekeeping.
  • A demonstrated safety-first work ethic and professional attitude.
  • Undertaking steel fabrication and repairs to high standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements.
  • Ability to read plans and produce detailed quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willing to both contribute and learn from others; and
  • The ability to build clear and open communication with clients, management, supervisors, leading hands, and team members.

To be considered for the role you will require:

  • Trade qualified. (Cert III in Engineering–Boilermaker)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a weld test.
  • Be accountable for your own role and duties.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • WAH, forklift, overhead gantry, and dogging tickets are advantageous.
  • Current driver’s licence with own vehicle. (No public transport available)

Please note this is NOT a FIFO role!
