Boilermaker/Welder

Collar Group are on the look out for Boilermaker/welders to join our client’s Forrestfield workshop team. 

Your duties in this role will have you completing but not limited to; 

• Perform welding operation using FCAW welding process, 1.6mm wire diameter
• Operation of grinders and power tools
• Adhere to the client’s welding procedures
• Operation of overhead cranes (if trained and assessed and deemed competent to do so)
• Operation of forklifts (if licenced and deemed competent to do so)
• Operation of scissor lifts from time to timeill sets;

Experience & Skills required

• Experience and competent to perform welding task to a minimum of 3G vertical up and 4G overhead welding position complying to nominated standard.
• Required to pass welding test in 3G vertical up and 4G overhead using FCAW welding process
• Competent in the use of all equipment and hand tools

Requirements

• HRWL – LF (Forklift)
• Trade Certificate Level III in Engineering Fabrication (desirable)

Great penalty rate offered, minimum of 55 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
