Building Assessor/Inspector

Collar Group have partnered with a Project Management consultancy to source highly skilled and experienced Building Assessor/Inspectors to join their team. As the Building Assessor/Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and inspections of residential buildings across Queensland to determine their condition, compliance with regulations, and potential risks.

About the role:

• Conduct detailed inspections of buildings to determine their condition and potential risks.
• Identify and assess any defects, damage, or safety hazards, and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Ensure that all buildings are in compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on building assessments and inspections, including detailed findings and recommendations.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on building maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in building codes and regulations.

About you:

• Proven experience in building assessment, inspection, or a related field.
• Builders license will be highly desired
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and building assessment software.
