Cabinet Maker

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs and plans using CAD software or traditional drafting techniques.
• Select appropriate materials, such as wood, hardware, and finishes, based on project specifications.
• Prepare and cut materials accurately, utilizing power tools and machinery.
• Construct and assemble cabinet components, ensuring precise joinery and sturdy construction.
• Install cabinets on-site, making necessary adjustments for a perfect fit and proper operation.
• Apply finishes, such as stains, varnishes, or paints, to achieve the desired appearance.
• Install cabinet hardware, including hinges, handles, and knobs, according to design requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cabinet maker, preferably in the residential sector.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery methods, and cabinet construction.
• Proficiency in using CAD software for design and layout.
• Skilled in operating power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Attention to detail and precision in measurements, cutting, and assembly.
• Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into practical designs.
