What’s the Job?
Multiple Catering Assistants needed in the Melbourne area and surrounding suburbs at Aged Care & Education facilities.
Shifts can be allocated across any day, weekends included, full-time hours 38, part-time hours 30.
Show me the money:
Permanent: Mon-Fri $22.77/hour Sat $28.46 Sun $34.15
Casual: Mon-Fri $28.46/hour Sat $34.16/hour Sun $39.85/hour
+ Public Holiday rates
What the role involves:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Customer service – serving our residents meals and snacks
- Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
- Fast, effective service throughout busy periods – with a good attitude
- Assisting the broader team as required

You will need:
- Previous experience assisting in kitchen operations, food preparation and/or customer service
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Previous aged care experience is preferred
