The role:

You will be responsible for day-to-day operations and managing a large team/s across the Sutherland Shire area. 
We are seeking a qualified chef looking to take the next step in their career within a management role, supported by a company in making this role your own! 

What your typical day will look like:

  • Dual role with responsibilities in food preparation & presentation
  • Menu planning & stock ordering
  • Management of site/s & all contract scoped accommodation and catering services (including texture modification and allergies)
  • Impeccable client relationship development / management
  • Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
  • Rostering & recruiting
  • Financial performance and P&L responsibility with a focus on labor and food cost

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Trade Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
  • Aged Care or equivalent experience will be well received 
  • A motivated, constructive and professional ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Resourcefulness, resilience and enthusiasm
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
