The Role:
Searching for an enthusiastic part-time Chef to join our team working within an Aged Care Facility in Harden, NSW! Working part-time will look like; Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 06:30am-02:30pm. Accommodation is provided on site for the days you work.
Show me the money:
$37.50 p/h + applicable penalties when worked, with the potential of overtime!
What This Role Involves:
- Preparing and presenting food for our residents
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
- Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in kitchens and food preparation
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantage)
- Previous experience in aged care or catering (advantage)
Please Note:
As a result of revised standards around health & well-being in the aged care industry, all applicants must have a current year flu vaccination and be able to provide proof of the COVID vaccination. Candidates will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
