The Role:
We are looking to appoint Chef Managers at two of our Aged Care Facilities located in NSW! The two locations of these current vacancies are Dee Why & Brookvale. 
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.

Dee Why Facility Roster:
Mon-Fri (9:00am-5:30pm)

Brookvale Facility Roster:
Mon – Fri (6:30am – 3:00pm)

What This Role Involves:

  • Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
  • Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking 
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
  • Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
  • Assisting the broader team as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Trade-Qualified Chef
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate 
  • Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs 
  • Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene

Please Note:
As a result of revised standards around health & well-being in the aged care industry, all applicants must have a current year flu vaccination and be able to provide proof of the COVID vaccination. Candidates will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
