Civil Supervisor

About the Role:

Collar Group are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor with extensive knowledge in the civil construction industry. You will be tasked with running toolbox talks, ensuring prestart inspections are completed on all plant and confirming the correct job documentation, permits, inductions, management plans, and SWMS are in place on each job. Monitoring and controlling all aspects of WH&S and keeping the project adequately resourced with plant and materials.

The Project in based in Olympic Dam on a FIFO Roster from Adelaide. The initial Project is a Substation and all Civil works ranging from Bulk to Detailed work. The project is initially a 12 month project. You will be supplied, Accommodation, Meals, Tools of the Trade and support from a great organisation.

What you need to succeed: 
  

• Good attitude towards management and team.
• Lead by example attitude.
• Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a leading hand, supervisor or site manager.
• Ideally have worked within a Mining sector or Large scale Civil Project (BHP is highly desired)
• A true driver for safe work and all practices onsite
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Able to read and interpret drawings.
• Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
• All relevant tickets and licences to the position
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Always show safe working abilities and must be able to follow safe work practices on-site.
• Valid driver’s license – AUSTRALIAN
