Our client is one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit Aged Care providers delivering high-quality residential aged care in a supportive, community-centred environment. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated clinician to support the delivery of clinical care within this under 300-bed facility in the Umina Beach area, NSW

What do you need to have?

  • Current AHPRA Registration 
  • COVID Vaccination (including booster)
  • Flu Vaccine (as some facilities require it)
  • Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain these
  • Reliable access to means of transportation 
  • Dementia or wound care experience
  • Post graduate wound/dementia care qualification (highly desirable but not mandatory) 

What will you be doing?

  • The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert nurse who will provide leadership, advice, and recommendations on all aspects of nursing and consults on matters relating to the safe and appropriate use of nursing practices.
  • The CNC will formulate and implement policy, guide practice development, and engage in education and research activities.
  • The CNC is responsible for the provision of clinical supervision to nursing staff and acts as a role model, providing nursing care on a regular basis.  
  • Contributes and advocates for quality improvement activities in relation to dementia care and wound care
