My client is a leading commercial cladding glazing specialist operating across Victoria. The company has 45 years’ experience in the building and construction industry and 15 years in the façade and cladding sector. They are one of Australia’s most reputable cladding and facade contractors and employ over 60 staff across the factory and site.
The Role:
The company is looking for a Drafter and you will be working in a great team that offers support and development. This is a key position in the business and will be responsible for producing shop and production drawings in house.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in building structures/ facade design
- within a consultancy or Contractor.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD
- Ability to read, check and relay drawings
- Sound knowledge of installation process of curtain walling or glazing projects on high rise construction
- Experience with Aconex or similar drawing submission, coordination and approval platform.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of products, design and production processes within commercial cladding and curtain wall
- Local experienced within commercial façade / windows environments
