Estimator

We are currently searching for an experienced Estimator Manager for a permanent position to work for an award winning interior fitout and Joinery Manufacturer within building construction and maintenance.

• Monday to Friday
• Hours – 7.00am – 3.30pm
• Permanent position
• Located in Welshpool
• Salary $90k – $120k (Dependent on experience)

 
Key responsibilities but not limited to;
 

• Manage tenders given by the BD Manager
• Prepare project material/labour costing’s
• Collate project drawings
• Recommend substitute materials
• Site Visit as necessary
• Enter all maintenance jobs and follow through procedure
• Deliver quotes
• Negotiate specifications & negotiate with clients  
• Obtain estimation time frame and advise prospect
• Pass job details to estimator
• Initiate deposit invoicingObtain signed contract
• Obtain construction Drawings signed and stamped
• Obtain information from production & site on projects
• Make changes to estimating from reviews
• Obtain and develop networks on national sub trades
• Manage Estimating staff
• Work with managers to improve processing and development

 
 
Skills & Experience required; 
 

• Experience currently working for a Fitout company
• 5 + years experience in a similar position
• Experience in Joinery estimation is preferable but not essential
• Have a good understanding of Construction methods
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must have good Negotiation skills
