Job Description:
Collar Group is currently hiring talented and passionate Chefs to work in various locations across Western Australia, including remote and local sites. As a Chef with Collar Group, you’ll play a crucial role in menu planning and day-to-day food preparation, ensuring that all employees and visitors receive high-quality and nutritious meals.

Key Details:
– Job Type: Chef positions with immediate starts.
– Work Environment: Remote and local locations in Western Australia.
– Responsibilities: Menu planning, food preparation for breakfasts, crib, dinner, and site events/functions.

Requirements:
– Immediate availability after completing a medical examination.
– Site inductions from major mining companies like Rio Tinto, FMG, and BHP are highly advantageous, with Rio Tinto Inducted being desirable.
– Successful completion of a pre-employment medical and regular drug screenings (every 28 days).
– Essential experience in bulk cooking and breakfast preparation.
– Desirable experience of at least 2+ months in FIFO roles.
– Certification: Possession of an Australian Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (we accept translated).
– Valid Police Check obtained within the last 6 months.
– Desirable Certifications: Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and Covid-19 Food Hygiene Certificate.
– Skills: Ability to work well under pressure, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail.
