General Hand/Production Line Operator

Our client, an Australian manufacturer of fiberglass building products are seeking a General Hand/Production Line Operators for a position based in Wetherill Park.

• Our client is offering a temp to perm role for the right candidate. 
• Salary is $33 plus an hour with ongoing work
• Monday – Friday availability, possibility for weekend work 

Duties include: 

• Comfortable learning/operating the fiberglass machine
• Working on the production line in a rotational manner across the three production stations and learning all 3 stations
• Cutting fiberglass sheets to manufacturing requirements 
• Manual handling up to 15kg 
• Exposure to a physically demanding and occasionally dirty or unclean work environment – manufacturing environment

Successful candidates will need the following: 

• Own car and license – site not accessible by public transport 
• Forklift license preferred but not essential 
• Manufacturing experience essential
• Quick learner/a person who takes initiative in challenging conditions
• Be reliable/punctual and committed
• High levels of attention to detail
• Lives locally to Wetherill Park – ideal
