HD Fitter

Location – Naval Base
Pay rate – Casual $70 flat
               Perm $60 flat
Hours – 10-hour days Mon/Fri 

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, dump trucks, and more.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment manuals.
• Replace faulty components and conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and equipment performance.
• Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant technical certifications in heavy equipment mechanics or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HD Fitter, specializing in heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults in heavy machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Police clearance within the last 6 months.
