About you and the role
This a fantastic opportunity to take over the kitchen in this great venue, working closely with the executive chef and the venue’s management team, you will be integral to building and pushing it to become a dining destination in Sydney by expressing your creative flair and leadership skills. To be successful in this role you will need to show the following

• Build, develop and train a diverse team keeping to the values of the business
• Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of the venues P&L, promoting new ideas to maximise profitability
• Be compliant, understanding all work-related legislations
• Multifunctional and proactive in all aspects of your work with a hand on approach
• Creativity around menu development and food presentation with an adaptive mindset to current food trends
• Very organised and able to work on several projects and offerings simultaneously
• Full accountability for the kitchen financials, developing and building your kitchen team, and keeping the product consistent
• Proven career progression in reputable kitchens managing large teams
• Hatted / Michelin experience desirable
