About the role and company, 

Our client is a family-owned contractor with over 30 years of trading in the NSW market. 

They specialize in the design, construction, and service of commercial Electrical systems. 
Their extensive networks and past projects include commercial fit-out, commercial construction, hotels, hospitals, government organizations, and FM contractors. 
 
Due to growth they are seeking a junior estimator/ engineering cadet to join their dynamic team.
This role is an office-based job where you will be working within the engineering and estimating team quoting and sending out tenders. 

 
Your day-to-day duties will be but aren’t limited to. 

• Pricing projects from $250k to $2 million 
• Reporting to construction or estimating manager
• Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal staff 
• Ensuring quotes and tenders are out on time 
• Ensuring pricing is priced profitably 
• Working with reputable builders and suppliers 
• Working in a positive working environment with great co-workers

Selection Criteria;

• Trade qualified Electrical or electrical engineering
• Two recent references
• Strong time management 
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong computer skills
