Mechanical Fitter

Collar Group are recruiting Mechanical Fitters for our Client based in Harvey.

About the Role:

We are excited to share a Permanent opportunity for experienced and well-rounded mechanical fitters for our Client in Harvey.

Requirements: 

• Must be able to fabricate and weld both mild steel and stainless steel using TIG/MIG/MMA to a good standard
• Must have machining skills (milling, turning etc
• Attend to breakdowns during production foir speedy resolution
• Testing of equipment under the supervision of the Project Engineers and recording equipment data
• Assemble and fit machined parts using drill holes and tap threads, if necessary, for bolting parts together

Tickets & Licences:

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Relevant Trade Qualification – essential
• Confined Space – essential (2 years)
• Working at Heights – essential (2 years)
• Gas Test Atmospheres – essential (4 years)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
