Collar Group is working with a leading provider of advisory and project management services in the social infrastructure space, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects across the healthcare, tertiary education, research, leisure, and government sectors. We are looking for an exceptional Project Director to lead our client’s Brisbane Project Management Team and help deliver an unprecedented pipeline of social infrastructure projects across Queensland.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business development, as well as advising clients in the delivery phases of projects. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the building industry and the social infrastructure sectors.

About the role:

  • Lead the Brisbane Project Management team in the successful delivery of social infrastructure projects across Queensland.
  • Drive business development and expand Capital Insight’s project management services in the social infrastructure space.
  • Advise clients on project delivery and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure project delivery meets client expectations.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in a building related discipline and post-graduate registration in a related field
  • Proven post-graduate experience managing the delivery of significant building projects, with a value of over $300 million.
  • Knowledge and experience in social infrastructure sectors, such as healthcare, tertiary education, community infrastructure, or similar areas.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and project collaboration tools.
  • A self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative, professional environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly and contribute to interstate projects as required.
