Who we’re looking for: 
Our client is preparing to initiate Programs of work which will be responsible for delivering a new ICT Strategy, as such they are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will be able to join their team and help deliver this exciting digital transformation Program.
 
The Program will be responsible for replacing several bespoke systems which are used for ordering, supply and governance. Plus delivering corporate modernisation and cloud transition for applications, data and infrastructure.

The successful applicant will be expected to contribute their experience and skills to support projects within the Program, by delivering corporate systems/applications.
 
Previous experience in projects managing corporate systems/applications with strong oral and written communications skills required.  This role will require the successful candidate to engage with both external and internal stakeholders, identify user needs, manage priorities and adapt to a dynamic working environment.  

What you will need:

  • Tertiary degree and/or equivalent experience of 7 years or more in project management, project delivery and PRINCE2/AGILE or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering procurement based ICT projects into government environments.
  • Leading project teams through planning to implementation while delivering results against planned benefits and outcomes.
  • Experience conducting government procurement processes including procurement artefacts for high value projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement and bridge between technical and non-technical resources and managing their expectations.
  • Providing strategic support and analysis into business and technology problems to drive continuous improvement.
