Registered Nurse

Our client is one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit Aged Care providers delivering high quality residential aged care in a supportive, community centered environment. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with the “right attitude” looking to develop their nursing skills and secure a permanent fulltime or part-time role in beautiful Coffs Harbour. You’ll be supported by a passionate team of professionals dedicated to delivering excellent standards and quality of care. Reporting to the Clinical Care Coordinator, you will be working with a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Personal Carers, General Practitioners, Allied Health professionals, residents, and their families to deliver high-quality clinical and personal care.
  
What do you need to have?

• Current AHPRA registration
• Flu and Covid vaccinations (including booster)
• First aid & CPR
• National Police clearance and NDIS or willing to obtain
• Good understanding of resident rights & Aged Care Accreditation Standards
• Excellent clinical skills

What will you be doing?

• Clinical care of residents in Aged Care facilities.
• Documentation of vital signs, medication intake and resident assessments
• Assisting with meal consumption and monitoring nutrition.
• Family and resident education
• Infection control and prevention
• Palliative care, restorative care and pain management
• Assisting in admission and easing the transition for residents and their families
• Liaison with all stakeholders including residents, family, doctors and allied health
• Supervising AINs, EENs and all other staff on shift outside of office hours
