Collar Talent Group are excited to share a new opportunity for a Registered Nurse for a Fixed Term Contract 4 weeks to 3 months.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse looking to develop their nursing skills and secure a role with one of the largest aged care providers in NSW with the opportunity for permanent employment and career progression.
You’ll be supported by a passionate team of people dedicated to delivering excellent standards and quality of care. We are looking for the “right attitude”. Reporting to the Clinical Care Coordinator, you will be working with a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Personal Carers, General Practitioners, Allied Health professionals, residents, and their families to deliver high-quality clinical and personal care.
What do you need to have?
- AHPRA Registration in Australia
- Flu & COVID Vaccinations (including booster)
- First Aid & CPR
- 1 year minimum experience of working in aged care
- Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain these
What will you be doing?
- Clinical care of residents in Aged Care facilities.
- Documentation of vital signs, medication intake and resident assessments
- Assisting with meal consumption and monitoring nutrition.
- Family and resident education
- Infection control and prevention
- Palliative care, restorative care and pain management
- Assisting in admission and easing the transition for residents and their families
- Liaison with all stakeholders including residents, family, doctors and allied health
- Supervising AINs, EENs and all other staff on shift outside of office hours
