The Exec Chef has a wealth of experience from working across Latin America and Spain. Under his guidance, in-house whole-animal butchery is celebrated on the menu from cured meats to dry-aged premium cuts of beef that highlight the best local produce Australia has to offer to deliver a memorable dining experience.
  
About you & Role responsibilities

This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sous chef to take on their next challenge. Working closely with the head chef and management team, you will support all areas of the kitchen operation. To be successful in this role you will need to show the following

  • By assisting with day-to-day kitchen operations, ordering, stock rotation, staff training, supervision, menu creation and forward planning
  • Previous experience at sous chef level
  • Build, develop and mentor a diverse team keeping to the values of the business
  • Maintain effective communication
  • Passionate about providing the highest standards of service
  • Be compliant, understanding all work-related legislations
  • Multifunctional and proactive in all aspects of your work with a hand on approach
  • Proven career progression in reputable kitchens, hatted level preferred
  • Real passion for the industry and a willingness to learn are very important
  • Able to follow instructions and keep them consistent
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on building team culture
