The Role:
Searching to appoint a trustworthy Chef at our Brookvale aged care residence!
Making delicious food for our residents and creating a wonderful dining experience; this role is suitable for anyone who values delivering great work and making a real difference for our clients.

Rate: $27.02 per hour

Roster: Sat – Sun (6:30am – 3:00pm)

What This Role Involves:

  • Preparing and presenting food for our residents – including texture modified foods
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
  • Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude

 The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience in kitchens and food preparation
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantage)
  • Previous experience in aged care or catering (advantage)

Please Note:
As a result of revised standards around health & well-being in the aged care industry, all applicants must have a current year flu vaccination and be able to provide proof of the COVID vaccination. Candidates will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
