Founded in 2021, our team at Collar® grew fast and we were all so proud of what we had achieved.
But growing so fast comes at a price, and in May 2024, we realised that we could not continue the way that we had. The three years of unprecedented growth saw our underlying cost base reach an unsustainable level. We placed ourselves into voluntary administration and appointed I&R Advisors to help us devise a plan to work our way out of this.
Our plan was accepted by our creditors in July and now we are focused on delivering to it.
Most of our clients have stayed with us on the journey, valuing Collar’s can-do culture that we have worked hard to build, drawing on the best people from across our industry and serving our clients, leaders in their own industries.
We have a great deal to do and now we have pulled our collars up, put our heads down and are working really hard to deliver to our clients and partners.
Our deeply experienced recruiting team continues to deliver tailoring our services to meet each client's and candidate's needs. We know what it feels like to fall over, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and just keep going. From a place with no judgement.

This is why we work so closely in partnership with our clients to understand the specific needs of the workplace, position descriptions and the level of risk our candidates may be exposed to. Alongside holding the ISO accreditation for Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety, we choose to go beyond industry standards. We provide our candidates with additional PPE garments, access to heating and cooling, extensive training, and anything else they may need to feel comfortable and safe throughout their placement.
