The Role
As the Clinical Nurse at a well-established Residential Aged Care Facility in the Coffs Harbour area, you will oversee and coordinate clinical care delivery. In this role, you will lead and support a dedicated nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained, with the full backing of a supportive Care Manager and Facility Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership, support, coaching and mentoring to staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the effective development and delivery of appropriate care plans
- Ensure compliance with the facility's documentation requirements
- Maintain clinical governance, supervise infection control protocols, and oversee medication management
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders to promote optimal health outcomes
Key Candidate Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing with AHPRA Registration
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, care governance, and clinical standards in aged care
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex care scenarios in an aged care environment
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Previous experience working within a Residential Aged Care setting in a similar role
