We are currently looking for a skilled and compassionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our clients team in a Residential Aged Care setting.
This Endorsed Enrolled Nurse role is based in beautiful Newcastle, offering the perfect blend of coastal beauty, vibrant culture, and a relaxed lifestyle. This is a Permanent Part-Time role, and the ideal candidate will be available to work from Tuesday to Thursday. A lot of OT will be available induing weekend shifts if wanted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality care to residents in line with the Aged Care Standards and Aged Care Act
- Maintaining accurate documentation and record-keeping
- Observing and reporting any changes in the health and condition of elderly residents
- Providing companionship and conversation for respite care
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
- 6-12 months of experience in a similar role within aged care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and problem-solving abilities
- A genuine passion for aged care and supporting the elderly
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
