We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our client’s team in a Residential Aged Care setting.
This is a Permanent Part-Time role, with plenty of overtime opportunities, including weekend shifts if desired.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Person-Centred Care: Foster an environment that supports residents in maintaining their independence and making informed decisions about their care, services, and lifestyle choices.
- Collaborative Care Planning: Lead assessment and care planning processes in close partnership with residents, ensuring their individual needs and preferences are central.
- Effective Communication: Build and maintain open lines of communication with residents, their families, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth care coordination.
- Knowledge of Standards: In-depth understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and the accreditation process, ensuring compliance and excellence in service delivery.
- AN-ACC Expertise: Maintain a solid understanding of the AN-ACC model, contributing to the ongoing improvement of care practices.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, guiding and mentoring team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
- Adaptability: Exhibit flexibility in managing change and navigating challenges while maintaining high-quality care.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Continuous Improvement: Passionate about driving quality improvements and actively seeking ways to enhance care outcomes.
- Clear Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and transparency in all interactions.
- Professional Development: Commitment to personal and professional growth through ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- A Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain and maintain one.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to complete the required checks.
- Immunisation History Statement confirming at least two doses and a booster of the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Valid Australian work rights.
