Recently, scammers have been impersonating recruitment agencies, including Collar, targeting individuals over WhatsApp. They make false promises of easy work and high financial rewards. Please be aware that our expert recruitment consultants at Collar don’t conduct communication via WhatsApp. 


We urge you to exercise caution and protect your personal information. With the competitive job market, scammers are taking advantage of vulnerable individuals. The ACCC Scam Watch advises everyone to be vigilant and think twice before engaging in any communication.

 

If you receive WhatsApp messages claiming to be from Collar, like the examples provided below, please take the following steps:


  1.  Block and report the number to WhatsApp. 
     
  2. Report the scam to Scam watch.
     
  3. Contact us at 1300 927 592 to verify if you were contacted by a scammer, or send us a screenshot of the messages at hello@collar.group
       
  4. Contact your bank immediately if you shared any financial information.
